Read the shocking email below
I’m sick of people getting cancer it’s about time action was taken with all the money raised; I have even lost 2 family members to this. Funny how all the big bosses of cancer organisations have ridicules large salaries and lavish lifestyles.
Three years ago I contacted Cancer Research UK on behalf of Virgin Motors as they were willing to offer £50 per car sale, I thought they would jump at the chance with this offer on the plate but Cancer Research UK wanted £20,000 before they would accept corporate donations like this which shocked me and we looked at another charity to support.
We all see the TV ad campaigns give money to fight cancer but what about the millions they refuse from businesses wanting to support them.

Dear Matt
Many thanks for your email and your interest in supporting the charity. We would always require a minimum income guarantee from any promotion we undertake with a commercial partner. Typically it would be more than £20,000 but I can’t tell you what we might require in your case without knowing more about your proposed activity.
We agree an appropriate amount in each case based on the complexity of the promotion and the value of our brand to the commercial partner. I am attaching a proposal evaluation template and would be glad if you would complete this and send it back in order for us to be able to advise further.
I will look forward to hearing back from you.
Kindest regards
Lorraine Williams

Dear Sir / Madam
I have many clients wanting to support Cancer Research UK that will donate money with every sale or service provided, I contacted you three years ago when I worked for Virgin Motors that wanted to give you £50 for every car sale and list a little logo on their site saying they support cancer research, Does the fee of £20,000 still stand before you start accepting donations?
Thanks
Matt Waterman
I really think the Government should take action and look at what the charities are spending our money on.
HAVE YOUR SAY BELOW – DONT FORGET TO TWEET OR POST TO FACEBOOK
I won’t give Cancer Research a penny, their expenditure on the biggest killers(ie lung & pancreatic) and also the least known cancers like carcinoid is scandalous. They say they can only do research on a particular cancer if proposals are put forward by well known researchers in the field, but how come they don’t encourage this by seeking researchers who will undertake work on these big killers? I wrote to them and asked if they would fund research on Low Dose Naltrexone which I believe has kept me alive for the last three years, they say they would need an application, so why not encourage these? Believe me I could go on and on about that charity, it’s charity for some but not for others. Aren’t you supposed to do charities for free, yet their salary expenditure is enormous, people are doing these ‘runs for life’ and raising thousands, little knowing that the money they raise is probably not going towards the very cancer they are running for. Of course Cancer Research will try and justify themselves, but it don’t work for me, hence, I treat myself with Low Dose Naltrexone, which they don’t encourage research for, after all, big Pharma with all of it’s funding is not behind this cheap little out of patent drug, again, all I can say is it’s a scandal!!!

How do you feel about this?
Experts who have been taking big fat pay-checks from the donating public for years finally come up with a theory!
Cancer Research UK are EVIL read this amature researchers report…
Cancer Research UK
Obviously, most people involved in charity work do so with the best of intentions …this report is not directed at those who wish to genuinely help, fund raise or raise cancer awareness …it is pointing out that they are probably unconscious of where the money they raise ultimately goes …do they know the Chairman of Cancer Research UK took home a quarter of a million pounds in 2008?
Cancer Research UK gives the appearance of being the warrior fighting Cancer in the UK. Well, Cancer Research UK certainly achieved enough money to own that title but where did it go? And where are the results?
Cancer Research UK acquired 477 million pounds in charitable donations between 2007-2008; previously in the 2006-2007 period, it was 420 million pounds. They received 10 million pounds in legacy funds, this is what they claim is their income.
Cancer Research admits that they spend £130 million pounds on actually generating those funds! 2.5 million pounds on Supporter Relationship Management. This is a strategy for the management of future fund-raising.
They proclaim that the work they do actually cost them, last year 341 million pounds, so they are in fact saying they are just about breaking even.
In fact if you do the maths they are only up by 1.9million pounds which of course would be swallowed by miscellaneous payments etc… It all sounds like an accountant fixing the books for his client to break even so as to dodge taxes. They also state that they have recently transferred 92 employees to universities and paid 1.6 million pounds in pension top-up outgoings.
They also show that their NET INCOME is just 10 million pounds, the legacy income. But after accounting they appear to have suffered 40 million pounds of unrealized losses.
Cancer Research UK declares that 35 million pounds has vanished through investment losses and a further 5 million pounds on pension losses!
But they expect these losses to be regained in the future as they are long-term securities! So there is no need to worry about such a huge loss in this global financial crisis!
Cancer Research UK List of Employees & Pay
3,935 employees receiving up to £60,000 per year
38 employees receiving up to £70,000 per year
30 employees receiving up to £80,000 per year
21 employees receiving up to £90,000 per year
9 employees receiving up to £100,000 per year
7 employees receiving up to £110,000 per year
1 employee receiving up to £120,000 per year
4 employees receiving up to £130,000 per year
3 employees receiving up to £140,000 per year
2 employees receiving up to £150,000 per year
2 employees receiving up to £160,000 per year
1 employee receiving up to £260,000 per year
total scammed equals £1,470,000
…at least a million pounds spent on waged employees… this does not include
the pensions that these employees are entitled to?
So, do Cancer Research donators, individuals & independent Cancer Research UK fund raisers know that their donations/collections are being invested on the stock market and are topping up employees pensions, as well as funding some of the highest paid workers around in a recession? Cancer Research UK has not yet announced any job loses to date. The recession must not be hitting the general publics’ ability to generate donations.
Cancer Research UK does specify that they do not invest with tobacco firms or anything dubious like that! I wonder if they invested in Icelandic Banks?
They spent and are continuing to spend further sums on new research buildings. One might ask – why? Is it their success as fundraisers and not as scientific experts, as yet they have not found a cure and the prognosis of cancer is still dire, with conventional Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy and Pharmaceutical treatments. If you survive cancer for more than 5 years you are a success story. What new wonder drug have the Cancer Research UK scientists produced? Has it saved everyone? Anyone?
So, with 477 million pounds last year all that was really achieved was being able to pay the staff for their hard work and dedication and a big pat on the back to the volunteers who collected all the money.
What else has been achieved? – NOTHING!
Cancer Research UK claims –
“Cancer Research UK is the European leader in the development of novel anti-cancer treatments.” The C.O.E. Dictionary “novel” noun; fictitious prose or new – origin: It – story.
“We are training the next generation of cancer scientists and doctors.”
“More than a million people donate regularly to Cancer Research UK.”
“Over one million women have walked, jogged or run in one of our Race for Life events.”
These quotes above are on their website. There were none about lives saved by the research that volunteers and donators are paying for.
When I typed in SUCCESS into the search box hoping to find the success stories of hundreds of people whom have benefited from this “charity” I found there was 1 success story from a woman about her husband who survived cancer 4 years ago, as far as I could read he was actually saved by the surgeon who removed his cancerous lung. And the rest were success stories, but they were successful fundraising event stories!
Ccncer Research is a fraudulent organization. Can you think of a single treatment by them?
Shame the Government does not look into this. Try Passing this page to some MP’s
Cancer treatment also seems to be very expensive, shouldn’t this be enough to fund research? THe medical industry makes big profits and then cons people into supporting research! Would you contribute to a car safety research charity, claiming to make travel safer for everyone, or would you expect Ford, VW, Toshiba etc. to pay for their own safety improvements?
