This guy is spot on with what he is saying and this is the way I personally do all the link building for my clients, you will see this on his 3rd diagram.

This is it in a nut shell
You have ‘Your site’ ,Page1,Page 2,Page 3 and so on, each page all getting link diversity traffic from the same reputable site with good link authority pointing to different pages within your site.

There are thousands of people calling themselves Link Building Experts you can throw money to and generate you thousands of links targeting only your home page = www.yoursite.com .  This is totally wrong and will do your business no good.

Apart from myself I know of only one great link builder is a guy called Eric Ward

Back links are one of the most important things to get right when achieving a high ranking site.

So here are some simple instructions how to write back links.

1. Copy code below

2. Enter url (web address)

3. Pick your most important keyword to your business

The code

<a href=http://www.yoursite.com  title=keyword here>keyword here</a>

This is how your back link code should look below:
Visit the best Online Dating Site (keyword is ‘online dating’ linking to date.com)

(hover over the link and you should see a hyperlink title tag pop up)
Now place these links on at least 30 relevent websites to your business each month and watch your listing boost within 3 months….
