What to look for when choosing a SEO Consultant
June 19th, 2008 by adminWhat to look for when choosing a SEO Consultant
Back in 1994 I started search engine optimisation before the term SEO was developed. Now every business across the world talks about Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), lots of companies across the net offer seo services at ridiculous low rates, but if you are picking a SEO consultant make sure you see evidence of their Google front placement work, and I’m not talking about PPC here or the use of their clients company name on the front of Google. I must emphasise on this as I have seen many people get ripped off.
What to look for:
1. Key phrase no longer than two – three words on the front page of Google.
Example of my front page Google listings work and what to look for.
A. Merchant Account - click here – look for Nochex.com
B. Water Skiing Tenerife – click here – look for skireg.co.uk
C. Water Skiing instructor – click here – look for skireg.co.uk
2. Say NO to a sample of a company name on the front page of Google, you must demand to see evidence of a product or service keyphrase on the front page.
3. A key phrase is a combination of both keywords and adjectives. key phrase = “Merchant Account” “Water Skiing Tenerife” for example.
4. Make sure you see live samples
